After nearly 30 years in refugee camps, we are committed to supporting peacebuilding initiatives.
We aim to empower youth and women to become champions of peace in their communities. We believe that collaboration with the leadership of the United States of America, the African Union, and regional organizations is crucial to establishing lasting peace in East Africa and beyond.
We advocate for leadership that meets the community's needs and focuses on peace, stability, and socio-economic development of its citizens.
Our innovative program promotes emotional healing and empowers individuals affected by conflict, mainly women and youth, to articulate their stories. By educating society and fostering recovery from the emotional wounds inflicted by conflict, we empower victims to find their voices and express themselves.
By collaborating with a qualified psychologist, an experienced mentor, and a skilled coach, we support our participants in overcoming past challenges and realizing the promising futures they deserve.
Our program incorporates diverse creative methodologies, including effective listening, painting, poetry, music, and book writing.
Furthermore, we organize multicultural events, competitions for teenagers and young adults, and international festivals to advance peace-building initiatives.
We actively organize and participate in commemorative events to unequivocally honor the victims of the Mudende Massacre, the genocide against the Tutsi, and other atrocities inflicted upon our family members in Africa. We need to raise awareness, demand justice, and learn from these tragic events. We are committed to combating genocide ideology and safeguarding human rights on a global scale.
As Engineers4Humanity, we aim to build a strong family, which is the pillar of a nation, through empowering women and girls.
We call on all policymakers and opinion leaders to support our program of youth & women empowerment and sustainable peacebuilding in the region.
