The Engineers4humanity(E4H) Initiative addresses critical needs through education, public health engineering, and capacity-building programs.

We aim to build a better world for everyone through innovative engineering solutions. Promoting self-reliance and sustainable livelihood among refugees, migrants, and underserved communities.

Public Health Engineering

As an engineering organization, Engineers4humanity aims to address vital public health issues in refugee camps, urban areas, and rural areas in underdeveloped African countries by providing water, improved sanitation, waste management solutions, and support for clean energy projects.

Our projects include support in disaster emergency preparedness, environmental protection, designing affordable water supply systems, constructing proper sanitation facilities, transforming waste into renewable energy sources, and using available natural resources to serve the community.

Key outcome:

  • Engineers4humanity Consultancy (EHC Ltd) is an officially registered environmental and social safeguarding firm in East Africa.
  • 5 staff members of Engineers4humanity are certified environmental and social safeguarding experts.
  • The founder is a civil engineer and a leading environmental expert.
  • Conducted 100+ environmental and social safeguarding studies, including a study on a project benefiting the Gihembe Refugee camp in Gicumbi and the Mahama Refugee camp in Kirehe District;
  • 30+ Staff, engineers, and technicians trained on public health engineering;
  • 100+ trained in environmental and social safeguarding, as well as training in environmental impact assessment and socio-economic studies.

Education Program

Engineers4humanity(E4H) Initiative provides formal education and vocational training scholarships to young refugees in different trades.

Equipping them with practical skills empowers them to find jobs and become financially independent.

Key Outcomes:

  • 2000+ students have completed high school and life has changed.
  • 210 Student's completed vocational training and found employment.
  • 100k Refugee reached and benefited to our services

  • 1000 Scholarship in by 2035 to complete STEM.
  • 500 University scholarship by 2035 students to complete University to boost community developments.

International Youth Academy

Responding to the scarcity of jobs, the unemployment issue among refugee /immigrant youth, and the gap between industry and skilled labor, we observed that it is necessary to establish a career path for young people or people who need to change careers.

The International Youth Academy is a skill development, research, and innovation hub.

This academy serves as a center of excellence and a career path program that helps refugees, Immigrants, and vulnerable youth acquire the tools and necessary skills to break the cycle of poverty and become self-reliant.

Working with other career development centers, construction industries, academician, the private sector, and the government.

Leadership & Peace Building

We have boldly confronted the challenges of conflict and are passionately dedicated to advancing peacebuilding efforts throughout East Africa and beyond. Our research delves into the core causes of turmoil, empowering us to craft innovative and sustainable solutions that inspire enduring peace.

We are committed to uplifting African youth and transforming them into servant leaders and passionate advocates for sustainable peace. By equipping them with essential tools and knowledge, we inspire them to foster positive change within their communities.

Our collaborative partnerships with the USA, the African Union, and regional organizations such as SADC and EAC are essential in our pursuit of an Africa that is free from discrimination and violence. Together, we can illuminate the path toward a brighter, more harmonious future for all.
